Last weekend.

It was our last weekend here. On Saturday we went to London. First, we visited the Tate gallery. The main exhibition on that day was Dali, but we didn't see it, because it wasn't free. Instead of this, we saw some strange pictures and sculptures. Some of them were interesting, but I can't say I enjoyed them very much, cause I don't understand modern art at all. After that they got us to Oxford street and we shopped for two and a half hours. It was good, but I wish we had more time. In the evening, when we returned at Queenswood, we had a disco but I didn't because I didn't feel well. On Sunday some pupils went to Thorpe park and others stayed at the camp. We had activities, as always, and in the evening there was a Sports day- a sort of competition. It was fun!
Today is my last Monday here. Everything is ordinary, like at the first week. I like here, there are a lot of very good people which I will miss when I leave home. The one thing I was disappointed a little bit - I thought it would be more progress from lessons. I mean, they said it is an intensive course, but I can't say it's more intensive here than in other camps. But I spent here more than three weeks and this plase has become a kind of a home for me, so - thank you for everything!

Bonjour, Guten Morgen, dzien dobry, hola, privet and Hi
to everybody =)
It's Monday again (bleee, I know) and we have lessons. 9 lessons a day! That's madness! =) But seriously, everything would be great, except one teeny, tiny detail. I've been here for 3 weeks now, and actually, I haven't learnt a lot, and that's what makes me sad. As some of you can see, on a visitor counter, almost nobody has visited my blog. Although, I added it on friday, but still. So, as nobody is really interested in my life, I can write about what bothers me. =P
Well, first two weeks:
- past constinous
- past simple
- present perfect
- 'used to'
and some others things which actually aren't new for me. This week:
- perfect tenses,
- super- heros
- education system
Things like this. I mean, come on! Ok, maybe I am a bit obsessive, sorry for that. I am just here for three weeks now, and I have almost learnt nothing. I have learnt something just on exam preparation workshop. but just last week. Before, sorry, but no.
Okay, enough about my problems, sorry for writing that much.
well, last weekend we visited Tate modern gallery on saturday. It was pretty nice, but we had just like one hour and a half, and this is really huge. Later, we went on Oxford street. It was just awful! Soo big, and we have about 3 hours for, well, "shopping". It was so crowded, so many people, that it was impossible to buy anything. I mean, it makes no sense if you are choosing clothes, then you stay like 30 min. in a queue and finally, when you got into the fitting room, you realize, that it doesn't really fit. And of it does, you wait another half an hour to pay. So, this was just horrible. Later, there was a disco. IT WAS THE SAME DJ!!! I thought that it is going to be awful, like last time , but suprisingly, it was a bit better. Anyway, we had a prettu great fun. I mean, it was ... ok. On Sunday some of us went to the Thorpe park, and I was one of 'some of us'. It was good, if you are very brave and just love roller coasters, then you will be just absolutely happy. But, If you like lighter things, it is not for you. I am in the middle, so it was pretty ok for me, but still, very frightening. Now it is monday, and I have to finish to start making my project =) kisses, KfiateQ

Hello everybody,

Today it's first day at school after weekend, Many of old students and our friends left last Saturday (=() but many of new students arrived (=)) ! And so while they have to create their own blog, we have to write a new post about blogs, blogging and the reason why we create them. Oh, There's also one more new thing: This is not going to be Kasia & Vero's blog anymore, because we are in different classes now =(. So we will still write posts, but they will be separated and being written in different times. So, first of all, before, I'll make blah blah blah about blogs, I would like to say hello to Veronika, and tell her that I hope she's having a good time. My new teacher is Kat, and she's really nice =)
So now I have to write about blogs.
Maybe I'll tell you what is a blog at first =). Well in my opinion, blog is an internet diary. We write our impressions and other things and publish it for other people that they can see what's going on with us. Like, right now, we are writing blogs about our experience in Queenswood for our friends, our family and other people to see how's our life here like. Many other people has blogs, and I think that they're making them to share their thoughts and other things with everybody, and also to show their hobbies, passions to other people. the value of keeping an english blog is that we are still learning english, we can share our experinces with our friends from other countries. Blogs can help us learn engllish, because when we write posts we have to check something in the dictionary and that's learning too! Plus, when we visit other other blogs, and we read them, we always absourbing.
I don't really have a time to write about Queenswood, just that I'm having there a great fun, and it's beautiful! Although, on friday night some people who were leaving, broke things and have written somethings on the walls and they were making a lot of noise. Although I was sleeping then, so I didn't know what's going on outside ! =) And yesterday we were all punished for that, because they didn't know who did that. But, except this accident, everything is fine. Kisses to everyone ! =* =)

Weekend

Hello,
Today, on our E-com classes we have to write about our weekend, so here it is =)
On Saturday, there was an excursion to Cambridge. It was really fantastic =D . The way to Cambridge took about an hour and a half., When we arrived, we went punting on a river. We were very afraid about our lives (and electronic stuff), and that we'll fall into the water (!). Fortunately, everything ended fine, although there were some scary moments, like traffic jams (!) or when we were banging into another boats. We had pretty nice trip, and lots of fun, because we saw a man, who fell into the water =)))
Later we went to the old law court. They gave us some pieces of paper with some clues on it (and a map). It turned out, that we had to do a treasure hunt. We were running through the whole city looking for things they told us to find. We missed one question, because we were out of time =( . We ran back to the old law court and we had a Quiz including these clues in there. We thought, we will absolutely lose this game, but we actuually WON !!! =) WE even got a prize, "golden" medal made of chocolate. Later we could do some shopping (Yay!) . At 16:30 we went back to Queenswood. We had a disco in the evening. But the DJ was playing a horrible and boring music. The only song, when everybody danced to, was Macarena. WE were tired after this day and we went to sleep.
The next day, there was an optional excursion to Thorpe park, and Veronika went to it, and she really enjoyed it. Kasia stayed at Queenswood, doing some activities, and she had pretty good fun too. WE CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT WEEKEND!!! =)

HELLO!!!

Two days ago, after classes, everyone had different activities. Kasia stayed at Queenswood and went to play tennis. Veronika went to the cinema for a movie ''DIE HARD''. We both had a good time, but at the end of the day we were tired.
The next day we had an academic excursion to madame Tussauds. We've seen a lot of wax models of famous people like Marylin Monroe, Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Jennifer Lopez, Kate Moss, Julia Robert. There was also a room based on a movie ''Pirates of Carribean'', so there was Johnny Depp, Keira Knightley and some other pirates. We also went to the chamber of horrors. There was nothing frightening actually, but there were some people showed how they were killed, many torturing methodes, dead people, skulls, blood and some other gross stuff. =P
We went to the ''Spirit of London'' trip thing, where we've seen many interesting things about London and separate periods of it. Like William Shakespeare times, or new ages and stuff. At the end we bought some souvenirs and postcard, and then we went to the PARK to have our lunch. Veronika, Kasia and some other Russian girls went to the coffeehouse. After we had our coffees, WE went back by bus to Queenswood. In the evening Veronika chose Arts&crafts for Activities and she was drawing her name. =) Kasia went to play badminton (It was fun) and later to do some aerobics. After activities, at 21:15 We went to our houses, took a shower and went to sleep. That were two great days =)))
Kisses, Kasia&Vero

Kasia is almost 14 and she's from Poland. She likes diving, also swimming and holidays =). We both like ROCK music, but different bands. Veronika likes Agatha Kristy, and Kasia listens to Green Day and Nirvana. We are going to stay at Queenswood for four weeks. And we hope that we are gonna enjoy it and also learn something =) We are here just for three days, but we can say that teachers are nice (=P) and our rooms are clean =), but pretty small. The food here is okay. 'See' you guys soon =P =)
